I have printed Digi Stamps 4 Joy precoloured digi JL677 Mysteri's music onto music from Create with TLC.  Cut out and layered onto light blue card that I embossed with Cuttlebug Marg's Melodies embossing folder.  Added sentiment from Create with TLC, added music brads and layered all onto dark blue card.

I have used the lovely digi given to us by Margy  JL693 "Butterfly Fairy".  I have printed her onto white card, cut out and coloured with markers.  Have layered her onto dark pink card embossed with Crafts Too butterflies.  Added ribbon, butterfly paper from Sugar and Spice studio 60 paper pack 12x12.  Stamped Thinking of you and punched with scalloped oval punch.  Layered on top and added punched flowers and rhinestones.  Layered all onto light pink card.

I love the Digi Stamps 4 Joy so was so excited to be picked to be on the design team.

I am still sick today.  Can't stop coughing so I am a bit slow.

My husband is not having a good day.  Trying to fix the toilet he broke a piece so had to make a trip to Bunnings.  On the way there he was just one car away from a bad accident.   The car that caused the accident ran into one car going the same way as him swerved across the road and hit the car in front of Tony, swung that car around, and then he hit a fence and ended upside down in the canal.     Tony managed to get into Bunnings.  When he came out of Bunnings there were police, ambulance and fire engines.    We thank God our car wasn't hit and Tony was okay though a bit shaken.

Whoopsi Daisy challenge - use lots of embellishments

The challenge at Whoopsi Daisy this week is use lots of embellishments

I have used paper from Whoopsi Daisy's CD Celebrate with Ruby Red
Whoopsi daisy precoloured image from sheet No 616
and a lot more embellishments than I normally use
Ribbon, flower buckle, punched butterflies and flowers, butterfly brads, dress brad, buttons.
All layered onto pink card.

Have printed out the freebie kindly given to us by Chi Chi Memories "Karate Girl" onto pink circle, layered on black circle, cut out and coloured with markers.

Printed piece of paper from Pininkie camouflage paper set.  Punched border and layered onto paper, added ribbon.  Layered Karate Girl on top.  Stamped best wishes and punched with scalloped circle punch and layered on top.  Layered all onto white and then pink card.

I received my letter this afternoon with the report from my latest breast scan this month and thankfully it was clear.

Because of my family history I now have to have scans every year instead of every 2 years.
My mother's sister died from breast cancer when she was 51 many years ago and my daughter discovered a lump which turned out to be breast cancer when she was 38 (before the age when you can have free scans).  She had two operations as they didn't get it all the first time, then 20 weeks of chemotherapy and then six weeks of every day radiotherapy in 2011.  She is still on medication to try to stop the cancer coming back.

I had a lump removed many years ago but thankfully it was not cancer.

I have layered Whoopsi Daisy precoloured "Topper Head 12 coloured" from the Whoopsi Daisy "Daisy Just Wants to Have Fun" CD onto paper from the same CD.  Have distressed the edges with my little distressing tool.  Layered this onto piece of white card which has been sponged with Distress inks and the edges distressed with the distressing tool.  Added flowers and brads.  Layered all onto pink card.
