Christmas card club - mixed media for Christmas

Mary picked the theme for this fortnight for the Christmas card club - mixed media for Christmas

This was a challenge for me.  I have done some mixed media on journal pages but not usually on cards.

I stamped Stamp It stamp Kings of Orient onto white card.   I have had this stamp for many years.
Painted background with black gesso and burnt sienna acrylic paint.  Painted over star stencil with moulding paste.  Added glitter and glitter pen to large star.  Added dots of glitter.  Printed precoloured holly leaves from We are 3 Holly Leaf with berry printable.  Added red pearls.  Doodled with white gel pen.

I made a card this afternoon for my eldest grand daughter's partner and used sketch 490 at Sketch Saturday.  (He is a musician)

Printed an old digi - Max that I bought from The Stamping Boutique a long time ago onto white card.  Coloured with markers, then scanned and made smaller to layer onto the papers.
Added guitar and music note from Digital Scrapbooking Studio - When I grow up I want to be a musician.

I have made a clean and simple card.

I have used Little Blue Button digital stamp Chatting Charlie which I coloured with markers and Prismacolor pencils.  (This was the second try as the ink on the stamp smudged when I used markers on the face even though I had left it to dry for a couple of days.)

I have embossed green card with footprints, layered it onto yellow card and then brown card.
Printed Wink Wink Ink stamp Button Bear onto white card, coloured with markers, cut out and layered on top.
Stamped Happy Birthday onto yellow card, punched with oval punch and layered onto brown card punched with scalloped oval punch.  Layered on top of card.
