This is my 3rd card for It's a girl thing Turner Syndrome Awareness 3rd annual blog hop and challenge
I made this card to send to my third grand daughter for her birthday last Sunday. She has been going to dance classes since she was tiny and now at 22 has decided to stop the classical ballet classes and just continue with the jazz classes. She has also decided to try something new - Aerial Hoop Lyra classes and has done two classes so far which she enjoyed. I decided to use The Paper Shelter coloured digi stamp from the
Warm Feelings set as it looks like a girl sitting in a hoop.
I also used two We are papers from
Miracles Happen paper set that Bonnie created especially for the Turner Syndrome challenge.
We are 3 coloured digi stamp
Butterfly of Hope
My grand daughter doesn't have Turner Syndrome (she is nearly 6ft tall) but she does have other medical problems. She was a miracle baby because after my eldest daughter lost her first baby the doctors told her there would not be any more babies. But God sent her miracle baby girl. (My youngest daughter has 3 girls)
I hope if you haven't already joined in you will go over and learn all about the Turner Syndrome and join in the blog hop and challenge.
Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing all or part of her second X chromosome leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,000 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!
I would like to add my card to the following:
