Another favourite stamping/scrapbooking site having a competition

Another one of my favourite sites is Scrapbook Boutique.
http://www.scrapbookboutique.com.au/
I have done a lot of orders with her and she is very reliable.

It’s time again for another challenge to begin at Scrapbook Boutique, and that means that it’s also time for a blog hop… and of course yet another wonderful prize to be won!
click on http://scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com.au/
and scroll down to Thursday May 10 to see the challenge and also the blog hop

Have a look at the lovely cards the design team have made and also the other entries.

I have an idea for a card to do when I get home.  I will then use it for one of the birthdays this week.

Angela was worse this morning.   She couldn't swallow at all.  Tony took her to the hospital but they just told her to keep on with the medication.  Tony and Lynda are driving Angela and Brianna home to the mountains.  Sarah and I have stayed here with Sian till they get back.  It is about 2-1/2 hours drive each way.

I hope you are all having a happy day.

best wishes

Margaret

Another stamping/scrapbook site I would like to recommend

Another site I would like to recommend is Lime Tart.  http://www.limetart.com/
I placed an order on the Website Thursday afternoon and it arrived on my doorstep this morning.  I really don't need any more stamps but I couldn't resist some of the new Whimsy stamps.  Also bought some washi tape.
Have a good week

card challenge for Sunny Challenges this week

This is the sketch and colours for the card challenge on Sunny Challenges this week.

http://sunnychallenges.blogspot.com.au/

Unfortunately I won't be able to join in this week as I don't have these colours.   I have a Tempting Turquoise stamp pad but not the other colours

Missed the challenge

Unfortunately when I went into Sunny Challenges on Friday the link had closed so I missed joining in this time.  Will have to try to get the card done by Thursday this week if the challenge is one I can do.

card for Sunny Challenges 4 May 2012

This is the card I made to the Sunny Challenges sketch using some of the Stampin Up "In Colours".  I have turned the sketch to fit the stamp I wanted to use.  I used Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush and Blushing Bride card and stamped with Concord Crush ink.  Used stamps from Stampin Up set "The Nicest Things", plus Stampin Up roller.  I didn't have the right colour ribbon so used a strip of Concord Crush card put through the cuttlebug.

Had a good day today.  Cheryl came and took me to stamp club down near Wollongong.  We had a visit to Fantasia on the way home.

Very fast service from Craft Queen

Craft Queen has lots of lovely ribbons and other supplies.
I ordered some ribbons and stamps from Craft Queen http://www.craftqueen.com.au/ on Saturday night.  Nicole posted the order on Monday, the post man left a card in the box yesterday and my husband picked the order up today.   Very fast service indeed.  Thank you Nicole
