About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. 2025 - Now due to my sore hands and bad eyes I make mostly digital cards and scrapbook pages.

Card 2 for Feeling Sketchy

I had to make 3 birthday cards today so made another one to the Feeling Sketchy sketch
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/

I used Stampin Up papers and stamps.

I am getting so slow now.  It took me all day (after my morning visit to chiropractor)  to make three cards.

My card for Feeling Sketchy No 16

I have just finished making my card for Feeling Sketch No 16 at
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/

and this was the sketch to work to:
I put a piece of core'dinations card stock through my cuttlebug and then sanded it to make the flowers show up more, added Stampin Up paper and ribbon.  Stampavie stamp Mo Manning "End of Summer".  Stamping Up sentiment.  butterfly brad and flower diamontes.
It has taken me ages just to make one card.   I spent 1 & 1/2 hours in the dentist chair this morning, and my mouth is very sore.  It is getting worse now the anisthetic is wearing off.

Card No 2 for Feeling Sketchy 15

Here is the second card I made tonight for the Feeling Sketchy No 15.
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/

I used an unmounted stamp I have had for ages, exotic papers I brought at the Papercraft show from Fat Cats Card Corner a few years ago and sentiment from Stampin Up.

I am having problems with this computer, took me ages to load card 1 to the Feeling Sketchy site, my computer keeps freezing.

Have a look at the other lovely cards on the Feeling Sketchy challenge.

My card for Feeling Sketchy No 14

This is my card for Feeling Sketchy No 14
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/
This was the sketch we had to work to.  Sketch by Jess D.

I used a flower instead of a bow as I don't do bows well.
Used white lace, Martha Stewart punch to punch scalloped purple border and flower rhinestones.   Bear is Penny Johnson clear stamp coloured with Tria markers and chalks.  Best wishes stamp by Stamp World.
This is the only challenge this card is entered into.  I will now post it to a cyber friend for her birthday this week.
