It is supposed to be Spring but we are having winter weather

 It is supposed to be spring but after the very hot weather during the school holidays we are now having winter weather

Angela at her front door a few hours ago.

It is very cold, wet and windy here in Sydney.  It is snowing at Angela's.  Started during the night and still snowing heavily.  It is the heaviest snow fall they have had since they moved there in January 2007.  Emily couldn't go to school as the road is closed.  Graham, Emily and Brianna went for a walk in the snow.   Sarah was on skype with her mother a short while ago.  Brianna came home and told Sarah her nose was cold.

They even had snow further down the mountain towards Sydney where they don't normally have snow.

I haven't done any craft yet today.  I was going to read my emails and make cards after coming home from the chiropractor but have been on the phone and then skype with Angela.

I have attached a couple of photos taken earlier this morning.

We had to use a stamp from a company stocked by The Stamp Spot.

I have used La La Land stamps "Watercan Marci" and "Sunflowers" mounted in front of the adhesive lace fence.  Background painted with Distress stains and clouds sponged with Adirondack earthtones "eggplant" ink.

Guest designer for Lollipop Ladies challenge 55

I won the challenge at Lollipop Ladies a few weeks ago so I was picked to be the guest designer for challenge 55.

This was the challenge "Mint leaves" with glitter.  Unfortunately the glitter doesn't show in the scans.

I have used roses embossing folder, Kraftin' Kimmi stamp "Rose" and Stamp World "Best Wishes",   Ribbon and a buckle instead of the bow.

My eyes are not too good today so I found the colouring hard to do.  The scan doesn't show the roses on the dress very well.
