Granmargarets cards-n-stuff

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.

Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.

Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.

I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.

The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. 2025 - Now due to my sore hands and bad eyes I make mostly digital cards and scrapbook pages.

Ching-Chou Kuik March facebook challenge - Easter or Floral

Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook group March challenge - Easter or Floral
https://www.facebook.com/groups/chingchoukuikdigitalstamps/

I bought the lovely Ching-Chou Kuik Little Daisy stamp yesterday it comes in two versions a partial coloured digi and a black and white digi.
My eyes are still bad so I printed out the partial coloured digi and coloured the rest of it with chalks and prismacolor pencils, scanned it and reduced it down to fit on my card.
I layered it onto We are 3 papers from the new Spring Time Paper set
Added daisy from Digital Scrapbooking Daisy Fairy by Carin Grobe Designs
We are 3 sentiment from Spring sentiment set

I followed sketch 179 at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 so I would like to add my card to that challenge

(I changed the circles to squares to fit my stamp)

Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes - Rose Garden

Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes - Rose Garden
http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/sunday-clean-and-simple/forum/topics/sunday-songs-rhymes-march-2020-march-21-2020

Find inspiration in the song or rhyme:

Rose Garden

I beg your pardon
I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine There's gotta be a little rain some time
When you take you gotta give so live and let live
Or let go oh-whoa-whoa-whoa
I beg your pardon
I never promised you a rose garden
I could promise you things like big diamond rings
But you don't find roses growin' on stalks of clover
So you better think it over
Well if sweet-talkin' you could make it come true
I would give you the world right now on a silver platter
But what would it matter
So smile for a while and let's be jolly
Love shouldn't be so melancholy
Come along and share the good times while we can
I beg your pardon
I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine
There's gotta be a little rain some time

I have used paper from We are 3 Floral Burst paper set
Sentiment from We are 3 Birthday Wishes sentiment set
Lace from Digital Scrapbooking Cottage garden
Coloured picture from Gecko Galz Everything is Rosie collage set

I hope you will go over and see the lovely work by the design team and join in the challenge.
