I have coloured the digi stamp with twinkling H2Os and markers, added washing tape, punched butterflies and star brad.  Layered onto lime green and then purple card.   I am going to put this up somewhere in my craft room.

Thank you to everyone who runs these challenges.

And a special thank you to Beccy for running the month of holiday cards, all the ideas were very helpful.  My computer died last Friday and I only received it back tonight. They had to replace the power supply which was damaged in the storm.

I have been ringing my daughter each day to find out what the challenge was for Beccy's cards.    Luckily I had some digi stamps printed out before my computer died.

Unfortunately I won't be home tomorrow so I won't be able to do tomorrow's challenge as the link closes tomorrow I think.  Anyway I now have 34 extra cards to add to my box of cards ready to send this year.

Embossed green card with Crafts Too "Holly Frame" embossing folder. and sanded.  Coloured the berries with red glitter pen and added ribbon.   Stamped Stampendous Stamp "Christmas Wish", sponged with red distress ink, added rhinestones and layered onto red card and then onto green card.

I have used the colours pink, brown and white and reindeers as my inspiration.
I have made a grid on a brown card with my Stampin Up scoring board.  This is the first time I have used it.  Layered Papers from Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses" paper pad.  Stamped Stamp It Self Adhesive rubber stamp "Reindeer Text" and layered it onto top of papers.  Layered all onto pink card.

Have printed out digi paper from Bearly Mine Designs "Spring Flight" twice (There are bees with wings).  Layered the first piece onto purple card.  Printed Whoopsi Daisy digi from sheet No 490 and layered onto paper.  (lovely fairy with wings).  Cut out flowers from the second sheet of paper and layered on top.

I was going to make a new card but  I was working on my computer on Friday inserting some digis to use on my cards and I heard the rumble of thunder a long way away. Just before I finished there was a loud bang and my computer crashed. Now it won't start. My husband can't understand it as he had put in a power board with a surge protector. Everything else is okay just the computer won't turn on, so I won't be able to go on the internet again until it is fixed. Thankfully I have already done some of my design team cards and scheduled them to go onto my blog for future dates.
I am going to take my computer tomorrow and hope they can fix it.  I really don’t want to have to buy a new one.

  

I came down to Lynda's today to use her computer to send some messages and a friend has sent me a scan of the card I sent to her for her birthday today.

The mermaid is a Lacy Sunshine digi stamp by Heather Valentin.  The sentiment may be from Create with TLC  but I can't look up in my computer to check.  I have added fish brads and stamped sea gulls.

Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge - 22 Nov 2013 - Lots of Texture

Splattered white card with distress stains, painted clear crackle paint over and left to dry overnight.  Embossed green card with Cuttlebug "Winter Trees" embossing folder, sanded and added different coloured rhinestones, layered onto painted card.  Printed Sweet Pea stamp "Merry" by Regan Kubecek onto white and coloured with markers.  Added different coloured rhinestones and layered onto green card.

The rhinestones are all different colours but the scanner hasn't picked up some of the colours and they look white.

This is the 19th card I am putting into the challenge.  I used the tutorial but changed it a bit.

I printed Inky Impressions digi stamp "Silent night circle" onto white card and added punched flowers.  I forgot to do the scoring first so cut it into a circle instead of scored square and layered onto green card.  Coloured sticker bow with green marker and attached.  Added pearls and rhinestones.

Stamped Penny Black "Christmas Wishes" on white card and layered onto green card.  Added punched flowers and rhinestones.  I don't know whether it looks like a wreath or not.  Doesn't look anything like Beccy's lovely card.

I stamped PSX stamp onto black card with versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder .  Added 3D Kindy Glitz Slick white.  Left to dry.  When dry layered onto red card, them black card, then white card.  Printed Beccy's Place precoloured digi stamps "Merry Christmas" and "Snowman with Poinsettia" and layered them on top.

Each month we are given a free stamp or set to use for the challenge.  If you aren't already in this challenge you can buy this month's set and make a card for the challenge then you will receive next month's digi for free.

I bought Imagine That's digi paper set "Birthday Bubbles" and used pieces of three of the papers from that set and layered onto green card.  Layered the free pre coloured sea horse digi and sentiment on top of the papers.

The set came with coloured images and black and white for you to colour.  I used the coloured image as my eyes have been fuzzy lately.

I have printed one of the stamps from Whoopsi Daisy sheet No 383 and coloured her with markers.  Stamped  two flowers in pots and insect and butterfly from Penny Black clear stamp set Zoo alphabet and  coloured with markers.  Coloured  background with chalks.  Stamped Stampin Up Happiness Always. Punched leaves and attached.  Made flower pot and attached over leaves.  Added flowers and flower brads.  Layered all onto pink card.

I was very lucky last month to win the Joanna Sheen blog candy which was the lovely Joanna Sheen Christmas Holly Pond Hill CD

I have layered 2 papers from Kaiser Craft 6" paper pad "Dear Santa collection" onto red card.  Have printed out the image and sentiment from the Christmas Holly Pond Hill CD and layered onto papers.

There are lots of lovely images on the CD which you can buy from Joanna Sheen's online shop.

I made this and the last 3 cards today as I am home on my own.  Tony went to Lynda's to pick up my craft  bag and his tools he couldn't fit in the car coming home yesterday.

We went to Lynda's yesterday to help her put up her Christmas lights.  Sarah and Timmy went to Lynda's in the train but we took them home as I had boxes of my Christmas decorations and Christmas tree to give them.
I don't put them up at home now that everyone has moved out as we go to either Lynda's or Angela's for Christmas.

Angela, Graham, Emily and Brianna and Emily's friends Chloe and Bridget (twins) came down also.  Graham came in the train as there wasn't room for all of them in the car.  Chloe lives with Angela  and Bridget spends a lot of time there.  Their mother is very ill in hospital and not expected to live long.    Bridget lived with Angela for a couple months, but as Angela's house is only small she is now living with a friend of her mothers.

Brianna wanted to make some more Christmas cards so I took some craft supplies with me and she made some more cards.

One of Graham's friends also came to help and he took a family photo for us.  I am the shortest in the family (except for Brianna aged 5)

This card took me a long time to make

I punched 9 squares with Creative Memories 1-1/2" punch out of Kaisercraft 6" paper pad "Bella Collection" and layered them onto paper from same pad.  Punched tag with Stampin Up tag punch from same paper pad. Added Christmas ribbon, flowers and star brad.  Layered all onto red card.

The angel was from Crafty Individuals Miniatures "People and Places"

I made this card yesterday but had to wait for the glitter to dry before putting on my blog

Light pink card embossed with Cuttlebug "Christmas stars".  Added pink washi tape.  Printed Beccy's Place pre coloured digi " Angel with Present", layered onto dark pink card and then onto light pink card.  Added blue star.  Added glitter to halo and star.  Laayered all onto blue card.

Used coloured digi as I can't see too well.  Having bad pain days this week and fuzzy headed, plus had dentist yesterday and couldn't eat lunch until the numbness wore off after 3.30 pm so that didn't help my headache.

Thankfully I have my craft and internet friends to help take my mind of my pain.

 I'm so excited to share my projects.

My card is made to one of our older sketches No 63 (I have changed the square to a circle).

I was thinking of what to make for my second Christmas project.  On Sunday 27 October I went to my daughter Lynda's house and my other daughter Angela and her girls were there as they had come down for a few days to get away from the fires near Angela's house.  I had bought a 12x12 Christmas paper pad from Spotlight a few weeks before and it was still at Lynda's.  Brianna (age 5) asked what I was going to use it for and I told here I was going to use it for some of my Christmas cards.  She asked if she could make some Christmas cards.   I didn't have any of my craft supplies with me but Lynda had a pack of cards so we borrowed scissors and glue off her daughter Sian and Brianna made 6 Christmas cards.  She picked out the cards, the papers and the shapes and I supervised and help her cut as they were big scissors.  We used drink glasses to make the circles.  Sian printed some images off her computer and made one Christmas card.

This is the first page I made from the photos Angela took, using the paper from the book "Christmas Basics" 120 12x12 papers and 3 different washi tapes.  Printed title and journalling on the computer as my writing is not the best.  Berries coloured with gelly roll pens.

This is the second page using the same papers and washi tapes.

 I was going to add some embellishments but thought it would be a bit much with the bright papers.
