Day 22 at Beccy's Place month of holiday cards is use foliage stamps to make a wreath and Beccy has given us a tutorial using a small leaf stamp.

My card is nothing like the lovely one Beccy made. It has been so hot here in Sydney today and it is still hot in our house at 11.20 pm tonight. It has been too hot to think straight. I am normally fuzzy headed but worse today. Also very tired after a family party yesterday. I couldn't think whether I had a leaf stamp so I have used the holly leaf stamp and the bow from Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament clear stamp set which was a freebie with Australian Simple Cards magazine No 61. I have only used two green inks instead of three. Added ribbon, rhinestones and stars and layered all onto red card. Happy Christmas stamp from Hero Arts.
I have missed doing No 21 so I will have to go back and do that one.

The holly stamp looks fabulous Granmargaret and works just as well for the construction of the wreath. I love the addition of the red rhinestones for your berries, and also the lovely little red bow.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you mean about the heat lately... the humidity up here in near Brisbane has been awful! Let's hope for a cool southerly change.
Cheers,
Beccy
