About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

Pink Fairy Card

Flutterby Wednesdays 242 - Fluttery recipe:  you need to have flowers, at least one butterfly and die cut/punch on your creation.

In the Pink challenge 21 - Anything goes

This is the card I made tonight for both these challenges
I embossed light pink card with Crafts Too "Butterflies" and layered it onto dark pink card.  I have printed Sweet Pea digi stamp "Buttercup" by Conie Fong onto white card and coloured with markers and chalks.  I have cut her out with oval cutter and  layered her onto dark pink oval and layered onto light pink card.  Added three punched butterflies and punched flowers.   You can't see the glitter of the gel pen on the flowers and butterflies in the scan.

  1. At first glance I thought the butterflies and frame where one did a great job adding them to the card! A sweet card! Thanks for playing along with us this week at Flutter By Wednesday.

  2. How darling and super sweet!! Love the image!! Thank you for playing along with my Flutter By Wednesday Challenge!

  3. Hi Margaret

Your card is beautiful... I love the image and the gorgeous embossing which suits the image to perfectly.

Thanks for sharing at In The Pink this time... good luck!

    Christine x

  4. Gorgeous card Margaret I love how the butterflies look like they are part of the frame :)
