About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

A Day for Daisies 97 - Get Krafty

Challenge 97 at A Day for Daisies is Get Krafty (Kraft card stock or paper)
http://adayfordaisies.blogspot.com.au/

I have stamped "Christmas Wishes" onto kraft card and embossed the card with Cuttlebug "Christmas stars".  Added two ribbons.  Printed A Day For Daisies digital stamp "Gentle Baby" onto white and coloured with markers.  My eyes are not good today.  I had to colour the skin brown as I made a mistake and coloured over Mary's hand with blue when I was colouring the baby shawl.  Brown was the only colour which would go over the blue.

I would also like to add this card into C.R.A.F.T. challenge 263 Christmas

and
Crafty Hazelnut's monthly Christmas card challenge

I spent this morning at the cancer centre at St. George Hospital for my appointment with the radiotherapy doctor.  I have a really lovely lady doctor.
Everything is okay and I am still in remission, thank you God.

How sweet! I don't think I've seen that one from A Day for Daisies. It's very pretty. I think brown works perfectly for the skin tone as Mary was an Israelite from the Middle East. Lucky mistake! : ) Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.
