About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

More Mixed Media challenge - anything goes with the optional colour brown

This month the optional colour for the More Mixed Media challenge is brown - use a little or a lot

I have a brown tree, brown hills and brown dog on my journal page.

I typed the sentiment onto white card and coloured background with distress stains.  Cut tree from brown card and layered onto the card.  Stamped grass, flowers and hills.  Added leaves to the tree.
Stamped Sarah Kay stamp Susie ponders onto white card, coloured with Prismacolor pencils, cut out and layered on top.  Added cat, dog, dragonfly and flower brads.
It took me all afternoon to make this page.

I hope you will go over to the More Mixed Media blog and see the lovely work by the design team and join in the challenge.

I would like to add my journal page to the following:

A Inky Mess 3 - anything mixed media

Crafting with an attitude 19 - anything goes

Creative Artiste 18 - anything mixed media

Pennys Paper-Crafty 293 - anything goes
