About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 - 160

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 - 160

I have used papers and precoloured elements and button from Digital Scrapbooking Studio Patchwork by various designers.

I made this card for my sister who loves to sew for her birthday next week
The sewing talent missed me.  My mum who was the second daughter in her family made all our clothes when we were young.  My sister is the second daughter in our family.  And my second daughter sews.

This is the sketch

I would also like to add my card to the following:

Crafting from the heart 243 - anything goes

Crafty Catz weekly challenge - anything goes with the option of adding button or flower

Crafty Hazelnut's monthly pattern paper challenge - anything with pattern paper

Cute Card Thursday 582 - stitching

Through the Craftroom Door - anything goes

Great use of the sketch. I love the 'fabric' papers for your sewing theme. The button is a great embellie, too.

Thank you so much for entering our ATG challenge at Through The Craft Room Door this week. Looking forward to seeing you again next challenge.
