About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Creative Fingers 171 - anything goes

Creative Fingers 171 - anything goes
http://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.com/

My eyes are bad so I printed Ching-Chou Kuik digi stamp Golden Fall large, coloured it with chalks, Prismacolor pencils and gel pens then scanned it and reduced it down to fit on the card (unfortunately it is not very clear)
Added paper from We are 3 Pumpkin Delight paper set
Sentiment from We are 3 Autumn sentiment set
We are 3 precoloured digi stamp Harvest (when you buy this digi stamp you receive the coloured one and a black and white digi)

I hope you will go over and see the lovely work by the design team and join in the challenge.

I would like to add my card to the following:

What a brilliant idea, to print something, colour it then scan and reduce it, I must try that because some images just seem too detailed to colour when I print them to the size I want. Thank you for sharing at CD Sunday Plus.

Beautiful creation Margaret. I've done that before but didn't think to scan and reduce as you have done....I will if there's a next time. Thank you for the tip and for joining us at CD Sunday Wynn DT

Must say I like the idea of colouring, scanning and reducing. The eyes do get bad as I age! Your card is wonderful and fits well into our "Autumn" challenge. Thanks for joining us at Crafty Cardmakers.

What a great idea to reduce the image once you have coloured it. I have just been colouring a small image and it is much harder. Next time I will try your idea.

I just love this time of year for all the wonderful autumnal colours and your card has captured this.

Thank you for sharing with us.

Hi Margaret. I see my fellow team members and I agree that your idea of colouring and then reducing to the correct size is a great idea. I hope your eye problems are just temporary. Thank you for joining in with us.
