About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge 464 - use some glitter

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge 464 - anything Christmas with optional theme use some glitter

I use old stamps I have had for a long time.
I stamped stars onto gloss card with versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.
Then brayered over with Kaleidacolor raised rainbow dye inkpad fruitcake which I have also had for a long time.
Stamped Stamp It stamp on top.  (Stamp is not very clear, that is why I use mostly digital stamps now as they are easier on my sore hands)
Added lots of glitter.
Layered all onto red card and added more glitter.

I hope you will go over and see the lovely work by the design team and join in the challenge.

I would like to add my card to the following:

Addicted to stamps 179 - anything goes-must have stamping

Addicted to Stamps and More 367 - make your mark

CCC Digi Creations 109 - Christmas

Country View challenge November - hand stamped

Crafty Animals 32 - anything with an animal

Daisy Chain 36 - Christmas/winter

Lavinia World challenge 13 - anything hand stamped

Merry Little Christmas 16 - anything Christmas

Pearly Sparkles 46 - Christmas

Sweet Stampers 38 - Christmas

Yes the stamping isn't perfectly clear but that is the charm of a hand stamped creation, unique to each of us! Plus, if anyone asks, you can always say that the 3 wise men are entering a blizzard of snow... Thank you so much for joining us in our Country View Challenge this month!

Beautiful Christmas card! I love the stamping and the glitters. Yes, the three wise men are not totally clear but it makes your card interesting. But if it bothers you, try the Misti stamping tool or the Tim Holtz stamping platform - with these tools the stamping is effortless and always perfect. Thank you for joining the November challenge of the Country View Challenges!

Gorgeous! I love the brayered background. About the “imperfect” stamping, I love the vintage, distressed feel it gave to your card. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to a Stamps and More.
