I have made 2 cards

Card 1:  I painted white card with twinkling H2O watercolour paints and dry embossed with free embossing folder that came with Australian Simply Cards magazine a few years ago and partly coloured with Watercolour pencils and water.

Stamped 3 of the fairies from Fairy Hugs FHS108 Condo Dwellers 2 (set of 6 fairies).

Stamped Fairy Hugs sentiment FHS199 Dance
Added dragonfly brad and layered all onto purple card

Card 2:  I painted white card with twinkling H20 paints and dry embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder from Magic Happens duo and partly coloured with Watercolor pencils and water.  Added glitter to fairy wings and fairy dust (though it doesn't show up in the scan).  Stamped Lavinia stamp LAV024 Fairy Dust is Like Love.
Layered all onto purple card.

My scanner is very old so the embossing doesn't show up very well.

I have used scraps of paper from Christmas basics paper pad which were  left over from making other cards.
I dry embossed the green paper with Cuttlebug Christmas stars and the red paper with Cuttlebug Snow Dots embossing folder.   (The embossing doesn't show up very well in the scan).
Punched another piece of scrap paper from the same pad with scalloped punch.
Stamped manger scene onto white card and heat embossed with WOW clear hologram embossing glitter
Punched out with a smaller scalloped punch and layered on top.
Added left over sentiment piece from same paper pad.

When I was looking for an embossing folder to use I found some cards I had embossed ages ago  but not used so decided to use this card which had been dry embossed with a Happy birthday folder.
I used some glossy accents to highlight the word Happy and added some rhinestones.
Printed Moonflower digi stamp Ashlee Butterfly Wings Faerie onto white card, cut out and coloured with markers and glitter gel pens and layered onto the embossed card.  Added rhinestones and glitter.  Also added glitter around her.  (Her dress is a pretty purple but it looks blue in the scan.)

When dry sponged with distress ink.
Stamped Lavinia stamp LAV419 Alana with VersaFine Ink and heat embossed with WOW hologram sparkle embossing glitter.  Stamped three Lavinia633 mini fish with VersaFine Ink.
Tried to draw waves.

Dry embossed blue card with Cuttlebug Divine Swirls embossing folder (I have had this folder for a long time).

Added dolphin brads.

Layered the blue card over the mermaid picture.
Layered all onto white card.

The free digi for this month is Teacup Bunny.   If you haven't already joined in you can buy this digi at the special price, make a project for the challenge and then next month you will receive the free digi.
Teacup Bunny is available separately here or you can buy the full set Rosy Tea Party which is also on special.   This month we could use Teacup Bunny or any part of the Rosy Tea Party set for our card.
The set is great value in the set you receive

• 4 black outline images
• 6 digitally colored images
• 5 black sentiments 

• 2 colored word art banners

• 5 digital papers (6" printable) 

I have layered the coloured Teapot Kitty onto one of the papers and punched it out with a  circle punch.
Layered this onto another paper from the set then layered it onto a pink card with I embossed with cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder.
Added flower brads and layered all onto green card.
I forgot to add the word art Happy Birthday.

More Mixed Media April challenge - yellow

I embossed bright yellow paper with Cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder (unfortunately my scanner did not scan the colour correctly)
I brayered gloss card with Kaleidacolor stamp pad.
Drew rainbow with markers.
Added spots and dots through stencil with distress ink.
Stamped Happy birthday and Lavinia stamp LAV034 Fairy Wish with Versafine Clair ink Nocturne and embossed with WOW embossing glitter Clear Hologram sparkle 
Added flowers and layered onto the yellow card.
Layered all onto green card.

I embossed purple card with Cuttlebug mesh texture embossing folder (I don't know why my scanner didn't scan the card the correct colour.  It is purple same as the stamps)
Printed paper from We are 3 Slim Line Earth Expressions and cut out.
Stamped Lavinia stamp LAV515 Rue onto the paper and layered it onto the card.
Stamped Happy birthday, punched out and layered on top.  Added purple rhinestones.
Layered all onto white card.

Christmas Card Club

It was Lorraine's turn to pick the theme for the Christmas card club this fortnight and she picked use mainly red.

I have embossed red card with Cuttlebug Christmas stars.
Added piece of Christmas paper and star brads

Sponged piece of white card with distress ink.  Stamped manger scene, stars and Happy Christmas
