About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.

My card for Scrapbook Boutique July challenge

This is my card for the Scrapbook Boutique challenge for July.
http://scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/new-challenge-has-started.html

This was the inspiration "one for the boys"
I had to make a male card today to post out tomorrow.  I find it dificult making male cards.

I used the cuttlebug "divine swirls" folder. Tria markers and pencils for the sea and sky and ink for the clouds.  Two old stamps lighthouse is a PSX, the verse is by Art Impressions.  Newer Stampin Up   Thinking of You.

I have run out of time to add it to the Scrapbook blog tonight so will have to finish tomorrow.

Margaret, that swirl background works so well with the theme. I have found it to be a very versatile embossing folder and this is just another example of how it can be used. Thank you for sharing. Hugs Von xx
