About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

My card for Feeling Sketchy Week 32

I made this card today for Feeling Sketchy Week 32
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/
 This was the sketch
and I rotated it to the right
I used Cuttlebug butterflies embossing folder, Bild Malarna stamp Little Winged Friends "Together", ribbon and butterfly diamontes.
The stamp is on an oval but my scan looks like a circle.
I am going to send this to a cyber friend on the Bear Lovers Stamping Yahoo group who lives in America for her birthday next week.

  1. Lovely card Margaret I love embossed paper I might just have to invest in a cuttlebug machine if thats how to do it .I have trouble with the verification as well. Perhaps its because we are Grandma's.

    1. Thank you Pam. I have had my cuttlebug for a few years now. I have it out on the shelf as I use it nearly every day.
My husband did make me a light box many years ago and I used to emboss with a stencil and stylus but my arthritis is too bad for that now and the cuttlebug makes it much easier.
