About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Cute as a button facebook freebie challenge

First of all, thank you for following my blog and welcome to my new followers.  I am excited to see that I now have 251 followers.

I do read all the comments when I approve them and thank you for taking the time to leave comments.

I have had a very frustrating day today as well as the pain and fuzzy head.  Took four hours trying to sort out problems with my laptop.  Had to reset it which meant I lost my Microsoft Office programs.   Have to wait till I see Lynda on Friday to help me load them again except Publisher which I found the disc and was able to download Publisher.

I managed to finish one card today using the lovely freebie from the Cute as a Button facebook group (I coloured the image yesterday)
and which I am joining in the challenge to say thank you for the freebie.

The challenge is on the facebook group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/CuteAsAButtonDigiStamps/

If you are quick the freebie is still available today.

Cute as a Button free image coloured with markers (I did colour the hair with yellow but it is not showing up in the scan).
Washi tape.  Pattern paper from Christmas Basics 12x12 pad.
Stamped Happy Christmas and punched with scalloped circle punch.

I followed the sketch at Crafting when we can so I would also like to add this card to that challenge.

I would also like to add this card to the following challenges:

Crafty Hazelnut's weekly Christmas card challenge 246 - festive trees or greenery (there are trees on the washi tape)

Crafty Hazelnut's monthly Christmas card challenge - anything goes
