Farm Quest challenge 2 - pathway and map

 I just read a message on facebook from Becca Sadler telling me about her new challenge

Challenge 2 is pathway and map and there is only a very short time to join in so I made a very quick simple card.

I layered a picture from Princess Sassy Pants onto one of the maps from Gecko Galz Old World Maps digital collage set.

I painted journal page with black gesso.  Tried to use moulding paste through star stencil but it was too dry.  Used yellow paint through star stencil.  Added punched stars.
Printed coloured image and sentiment from Princess Sassy Pants sponged torn edges with distress ink and layered on top.  Added star stickers.

I still haven't mastered using stencils - it is a bit messy.

I have painted jounal page with Gesso primer, when dry coloured with Ecoline brush pens and spritzed with water.  When dry stamped grass, trees, leaves and butterflies from Post Impressions Stamp-a-Scene. (The stamping doesn't show very well in the scan)
 Added coloured picture from Princess Sassy Pants and yellow flowers.

I painted page with Gesso Primer.  When dry spread moulding paste over stencil and left to dry. Sponged stencil and page with red distress ink (Festive Berries). Added coloured picture and sentiment from Princess Sassy Pants, hearts punched from red glitter card and rhinestones.

I painted journal page with black gesso.  Painted white paint through large star stencil, and used white gell pen through small stars stencil.  Sprayed with Dylusions inky spray.  Added glitter.  Printed picture & sentiment from Princess Sassy Pants, cut out and layered on top.  Added punched flowers.

I painted the journal page with Gesso primer then when dry sponged with green, orange and blue distress inks.
Painted through leaves stencil with moulding paste.  When dry painted the leaves with orange paint.
Printed coloured picture and sentiment from Princess Sassy Pants.  Cut apart, sponged edges with orange distress ink and layered on top.  Added flowers and leaves.
