About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

Lacy Sunshine challenge 52 - Things with wings

Challenge 52 at Lacy Sunshine is things with wings and we were given the lovely "Freesia Ethereal Enchantress" to use in this challenge.  Each challenge if you use a Lacy Sunshine digi stamp you can request the free image for the next challenge.
If you haven't already joined in the challenge you can buy this image at the Lacy Sunshine shop for $2 for the next few days and make a card for the challenge, then you can request next month's free image.  See  - scroll down on the home page.

I was looking through an old box and I found some old cards I had brayered and not used.   To make this pattern you wrap elastic bands around your brayer and then ink and roll over card.
I cut a circle in the card.   Printed Lacy Sunshine" Freesia Ethereal Enchantress"  onto white card.  Coloured her with purple markers (though her outfit looks blue in the scan).  Coloured her wings with yellow markers, background with purple chalk.  Layered brayered card on top.  Added yellow ribbon and purple bow.  Stamped happy birthday.

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Addicted to stamps and more 132 - make your mark

Craft your Passion challenge 249 - anything goes

Crafty Boots - use a sentiment

Fan-tastic Tuesday 73 - Anything goes with a twist add a die on your card (circle)
