About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Post Pals - Putting a Smile on Childrens Faces

Beccy's Place - A month of holiday cards - card 19.

Today is day 15 of Beccy's Place - A Month of holiday cards and today Beccy has given us a tutorial on wreath cards.
http://beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/

This is the 19th card I am putting into the challenge.  I used the tutorial but changed it a bit.

Embossed green card with Craft Concepts "Funky Poinsettia" embossing folder.
I printed Inky Impressions digi stamp "Silent night circle" onto white card and added punched flowers.  I forgot to do the scoring first so cut it into a circle instead of scored square and layered onto green card.  Coloured sticker bow with green marker and attached.  Added pearls and rhinestones.
Stamped Penny Black "Christmas Wishes" on white card and layered onto green card.  Added punched flowers and rhinestones.  I don't know whether it looks like a wreath or not.  Doesn't look anything like Beccy's lovely card.

I will also put this card into Crafty Hazel Nut's Monthly Christmas challenge - Anything goes

You did a wonderful job creating your wreath GranMargaret, it looks terrific! Great idea to add a circular sentiment and image in the middle, it completes the card perfectly.
Cheers,
Beccy
