About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Beccy's Place - November Holiday card challenge - card 4 - use non traditional colours

Yesterday's challenge was make Christmas card in non traditional coloures
http://beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/
I made this card yesterday but had to wait for the glitter to dry before putting on my blog
Light pink card embossed with Cuttlebug "Christmas stars".  Added pink washi tape.  Printed Beccy's Place pre coloured digi " Angel with Present", layered onto dark pink card and then onto light pink card.  Added blue star.  Added glitter to halo and star.  Laayered all onto blue card.

Used coloured digi as I can't see too well.  Having bad pain days this week and fuzzy headed, plus had dentist yesterday and couldn't eat lunch until the numbness wore off after 3.30 pm so that didn't help my headache.

Thankfully I have my craft and internet friends to help take my mind of my pain.

I would also like to enter this card into Crafty Hazelnut's monthly Christmas challenge - anything goes

I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well GranMargaret, and I certainly commiserate about having to go to the dentist! I hope you feel better very soon.
Your card is lovely and I really like your choice of non-traditional colours.
Cheers,
Beccy
