About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Inspiration Post for Feeling Sketchy

Today is my turn to do an inspiration post at Feeling Sketchy.
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/
I have made a card layering digi images

In Publisher I have divided the A4 page into 4. On the right hand top corner I have started by inserting the background from Pink Gem Designs and made a blue border, typed the sentiment.  Layered the seat, then the girl (Sweet Sarah), then the boy (Can I kiss you) from Whimsey stamps Young Love set, then layered the flowers from Whimsey stamps KKD Blooming border.   Have printed onto white card and coloured the images with markers.

I made this card this morning and posted it to my eldest grand daughter Sarah who became engaged on Monday.

I hope you will go over to Feeling Sketchy and join the card and scrapbook challenges.

I was going to do my inspiration post on brayering but have had a bad pain week this week.  Also my printer stopped working last week and I couldn't go get a new one as my husband was away for the long weekend as a volunteer worker at the Black Stump Music Festival and then on Monday had an emergency call from my eldest daughter Lynda and Tony had to take me down be with her daughter Sian while Lynda went to work as Sian was too sick to go to school.  Lynda couldn't take the day off as she had just had 2 weeks off for the school holidays and she had to train a new worker on Tuesday.

Tony took me out to Office Works yesterday before he went to work and I bought a new cheap printer so I am able to print again.

While I didn't have my printer I just made digital cards for the challenges.   You can see some of them on my previous posts.

I would like to add my engagement card to the challenges at
