About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

Beccy's Place month of holiday cards day 6 - masking

Day 6 at Beccy's Place month of holiday cards is masking
Beccy has given us a lovely sample using masking fluid
I don't have any masking fluid so I have made my card using the old way.

I punched a circle and put it on the card while I sponged the background with distress inks.  Removed the circle.  Put the card which had the circle punched out of onto the card while I sponged the moon.  Then removed it and stamped the reindeer, Happy Christmas and stars.

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Hazelnut's monthly Christmas card challenge - anything goes

Fan-tastic Tuesday 110 - anything goes with the twist sparkle sky-lets see some stars

Inspiration Destination 58 - anything goes

One Layer Christmas card 21 - Reindeer

  1. This is SO lovely! The colors, the it! So happy you could join us at the OLCCC!

  2. The "old ways" work perfectly well too GranMargaret, which you've proven with your card. Well done on the masking and sponging! I love that sweet reindeer stamp.

  3. Love your dancing reindeer, lovely one layer design. Thanks for sharing at OLCCC.
