About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Feeling sketchy No 50.

I Just remembered I hadn't put my layout on my blog for the design team for Feeling Sketchy No 50
http://feeling-sketchy.blogspot.com.au/

Things are a little different this month over at Feeling Sketchy.  We have a weekly prize up for grabs!! Yes your chance to win a little bit of scrapping goodness every week!!
We are also offering anyone who plays along with ALL of our challenges in March to join us as a Guest DT. We hope these will entice you to play along each week.
So hop over to the blog and have a go.  We have some fabulous sketches coming up!
This is my layout for No 50

This is the sketch which will be on the Feeling Sketch site soon.
The photo is of my eldest daughter Lynda and her daughter Sian holding the drawing my other daughter Angela's daughter Emily drew as a Christmas present for Lynda.  Lynda's hair is just growing back after loosing it all through chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer.  It was sad for us as this was our first Christmas without Lynda's husband Andrew who died suddenly in the middle of her treatment.  She managed to smile for the photo as she wanted Sian to enjoy Christmas.
I used digi Christmas Paper from Bearly Mine Designs and made the triangle on the computer.  The stars on the right top of the photo are punched with  Stampin Up punches.

I can't draw at all but my grand daughter Emily (16) is very good at drawing.

This the quick birthday card Emily made for my husband Tony with a cartoon picture of him wearing his Black Stump T Shirt.  Tony goes as a volunteer site manager every October long weekend to Black Stump which is a Christian Music Festival where everyone camps in tents for the weekend.  It starts Friday afternoon and finishes on the Monday afternoon.

Does anyone else have a gremlin in their house who is always moving things.   Before posting this I spent 15 minutes looking for the folder which has all the sketches and a note of what I have used for my card or page.
I found it in a place I am sure I didn't put it.

Have a good week everyone.

A great layout Margaret. I love how the journaling fits on the triangle. The card is brilliant, a nice personal touch. Emily has a talent for drawing.
Best wishes to your daughter and I hope things are better for her now x
