About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge

The Whoopsi Daisy Challenge this week is 3D. http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.com.au/
I made this card today

I have just bought a CD with a lot of Whoopsi Daisy images and papers, see top right hand side on
http://linnie-whoopsiedaisy.blogspot.co.uk/    There are two pictures one for the UK and one for the rest of the world to order the CD.

I ordered one last week and was very happy to receive it yesterday.  It has a lot of beautiful images and papers and only took a week to come from the UK to Sydney, Australia.

I have printed out one of the pre coloured images "bflowerscol" to use but unfortunately my printer ran out of yellow so all the flowers are white instead of yellow and the frame around is white instead yellow, and the spots on her blouse and her hair also had yellow in it.  Still I think the white looks okay.
I printed her onto a purple and yellow square which has turned out blueish and white.  Placed her onto the digi paper No 4.
I embossed violet card with cuttlebug daisies.  Layered washi tape over part of the card.  Layered the Whoopsi daisy paper and then the stamp over the top.  I cut out some of the flowers from a second copy of the stamp and layered over the top to make a 3d effect.  (It doesn't show too well in the scan).  I then printed out whimsy digi sentiment from "More Butterflies" and layered over the top.  Added punched butterfly.  All was then layered onto white card.
I used the precoloured digi as my eyes aren't so good today.

What a sweet card Margaret. You can get some interesting results when ink is low, I love how the image has printed out x
