About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. You can buy the black and white version of Granmargaret Fairy at

fairy card

I made this card this afternoon to enter into two challenges.
Flutterby Wednesdays - open challenge using fairy or butterfly
http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot.com.au/2013/05/flutter-by-wednesday-239.html
and Clear It Out challenge blog - use two or more pattern papers
http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.ca/2013/05/its-challenge-time.html

I have embossed lime green card with butterflies and flowers embossing folder which was the free gift with Australian Card Only this month.  Added lime green spotted paper (didn't scan correct colour) and pink green and yellow flower paper.  Printed Sweet Pea stamp "Restless Thoughts" onto white and coloured with markers.  Punched butterfly from yellow pattern paper, punched flowers from mauve and yellow pattern papers and added rhinestone.  Punched Stampin Up scallop oval and oval, stamped Stampin "Up Thinking of you" onto mauve patter paper oval layered onto green scallop oval and layered onto card.  So I have used four different pattern papers
