About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Beccy's Place - month of holiday cards - day 18

Day 18 at Beccy's Place month of holiday cards is Distress Inks
http://www.beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/

I didn't have any watercolour card so have just used ordinary card.    I stamped Stamp It "Christmas Love" onto white card with red distress ink, then painted it using wet brush and distress inks.  Painted another piece of white card with blue distress ink then sponged the edges with distress ink.  Cut out stamp and layered it onto blue card and stamped Penny Black "Christmas Wishes".   Layered onto red star paper from Christmas basic 12x12 paper pad and then onto kraft card.  Added punched star which I coloured with glitter pen (the shine doesn't show in the scan).   Added glitter around star and around picture.

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Hazelnut's monthly Christmas card challenge - anything goes

A lovely card and image, I particularly love how you have stamped with Red Ink and the contrast between this and the blue. Thanks so much for your recent visits and comments you have left on my blog. Much appreciated and I hope to be able to regularly visit you here! xx
