My card for Sunny Challenges No 42 for this week

This is my card that I just finished making for Sunny Challenges

We had to use the sketch below and the Baby Wipe Technique.  I have not used this technique before but looked up the Splitcoast Stampers site as mentioned by Kris.  I used both methods, the swiping option for the background and the stamping option for the Stampin Up flower which I stamped twice and punched out with the Stampin Up punch and layered.  Other stamps, punches and ribbon by Stampin Up.

I have used Whimsey Stamps "Wee Suzi", Hero Arts "Enjoy Your birthday", Stampin Up paper and cuttlebug daisies.  The colours have not come out well in the scan.  All the leaves were coloured green.

My card for Lollipop Ladies Challenge No 46

This is my card for Lollipop Ladies Challenge No 46:  Turkish Delight with the additional challenge "Squares".  My desk light blew so I found it difficult to see, so my cutting isn't straight.  The ladies are from Crafty Individuals stamp set CI-065.  The three backgrounds are from Stampin' Up set Boho Backgrounds. Sentiment from Stampin Up set.

Birthday card for my sister

I made this birthday card for my sister tonight.

Used Spellbinders M-Bossabilites "Splendid" on purple card.  Doily stamp from Darkroom Door "Doilies".  Busy Bec's digital stamp "Butterfly sweethearts" and ribbon from stash.

No craft today - some cards made yesterday

Lovely sunny day outside but cold in the house.   Didn't get any craft done today.  These are two of the birthday cards I made yesterday.

Well it took me ages but I finally finished my card for Sunny Challenges this week.

I have used the Stampin Up "in colours" card stock: blushing bride, pear pizzaz and concord crush and stamped Stampin Up stamps with concord crush. I hope you like it.  I will send this to one of my friends for her birthday this week.

I have to get off this computer soon.  I have birthday cards to make so can use this sketch.   No church this morning as it is the Red Shield Appeal.  My grand daughter has gone to help with the doorknock.  

This is the first time in 30 years that I haven't done something to help with the Red Shield Appeal.  Sick with a rotten cold today.  Also my arthritis is too bad to walk at present.

Card for Lollipop Ladies challenge

I used the cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder, Stampin Up papers, spotted ribbon and Penny Black "Sweet Things" stamp.  I don't know whether you can see the freckles I put on the girl's face.

card made to go with ATCs

As my partner has been very ill I also made a card to go with the ATCs.   I used one of my new whimsy stamps I bought recently from Lime Tart.  "Apple Blossom" by Elisabeth Bell.

The scan is not very good.  It doesn't show the blue and green chalk background on the card.

Have a good weekend.   I have a cold so am not going anywhere this weekend.

ATCs made today

I finally made my ATCs for the April swap for ATCs USA International.    I am not usually this far behind.  I will make for the May swap tomorrow.

April we had to make one out of recycled products and one for the letter A to send to our partner.  With everything that has been happening I couldn't think for a while what to do for the recycled one.  I found some lovely lace material and put it aside but then when I went to make the ATC couldn't find it, so I searched through some other stuff and found some offcuts of material that I used to make a dress for myself 41 years ago.  I haven't made another dress for myself since as I am terrible at sewing.   I also had some old lace ribbon that I brought home when I packed up my mother's house.  I think it may have belonged to my grandmother.  I then added a used postage stamp.  Here is the recycle ATC I made

It took me ages this afternoon after a busy morning at work to make 2 cards in between washing and reading my emails.
Here is my card for this weeks sketch on Sunny Challenges.  Just realised I made the pattern paper a bit too wide.  Paper is from Stampin Up Patter Pack II, stamps from Stampin Up set "A Kind Word".  Used Elegant Bouquet embossing folder from Stampin Up and Cuttlebug daisies embossing folder.  Hope you like it.

I have an idea for a card to do when I get home.  I will then use it for one of the birthdays this week.

Angela was worse this morning.   She couldn't swallow at all.  Tony took her to the hospital but they just told her to keep on with the medication.  Tony and Lynda are driving Angela and Brianna home to the mountains.  Sarah and I have stayed here with Sian till they get back.  It is about 2-1/2 hours drive each way.

Another stamping/scrapbook site I would like to recommend

I placed an order on the Website Thursday afternoon and it arrived on my doorstep this morning.  I really don't need any more stamps but I couldn't resist some of the new Whimsy stamps.  Also bought some washi tape.

card for Sunny Challenges 4 May 2012

This is the card I made to the Sunny Challenges sketch using some of the Stampin Up "In Colours".  I have turned the sketch to fit the stamp I wanted to use.  I used Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush and Blushing Bride card and stamped with Concord Crush ink.  Used stamps from Stampin Up set "The Nicest Things", plus Stampin Up roller.  I didn't have the right colour ribbon so used a strip of Concord Crush card put through the cuttlebug.

Had a good day today.  Cheryl came and took me to stamp club down near Wollongong.  We had a visit to Fantasia on the way home.
