Imagine That February's Use any IT stamp

I have used two papers from Imagine That Sweet Pastel papers
Precoloured images from Imagine That "Kathys Butterfly" "Birds in Spring" "daffodil" and "poppy".
Sentiment from Imagine That Sentimental "Thoughts".

I am using precoloured images again today as I am more fuzzy headed than normal from not enough sleep.   I didn't go to bed till very late.   My husband is on 24 hour call for the security system at the school where he works and there were 2 early calls this morning.   Then a spam phone call.  My husband answered the spam call half asleep and as soon as he heard the man say he was from Microsoft he hung up.  My husband was able to go back to sleep for a few more hours but I just got up.   I am so sick of the spam phone calls from people pretending to be from Microsoft or the bank.  You have to be so careful these days not to give any information over the phone.
Luckily I coloured my design team cards for tomorrow earlier in the week.

It actually takes me longer to make the digital cards than hand made ones by the time I find everything and put it all together.   The Imagine That digi stamps are great that they have png images that can be layered onto papers.  I just use Publisher to make my digital cards.

Added rhinestone butterfly and lots of other rhinestones

I have printed Sandy Samples digi stamp 89 watering can onto white card and coloured with purple and green markers then layered it onto a purple oval then layered onto butterfly paper from Sugar n spice butterfly paper 12x12 pad.  Added purple ribbon, punched butterflies and punched flowers.  Everything is purple but some look blue on the scan.  Added rhinestones to flowers.  Stamped Enjoy your birthday.

The Glory of Christmas challenge 53 - red and gold

Challenge 53 this fortnight at The Glory of Christmas is red and gold

This is my second attempt to make a red and gold card.    Firstly I tried stamping with versamark on red card and embossing with gold embossing powder, but I couldn't get the stamp to stamp properly (as my hands are too sore) so when I embossed there were bits missing so I threw that away and started again.

I printed out sentiment and image from Daydream Designs and changed the colour to red and made the background light red with a red border.  Cut out and layered over red ribbon and gold glitter card.  (The shine of the glitter card doesn't show up in the scan).  Added gold star and gold Christmas tree brads.  Layered all onto red card.

Unfortunately Diane had to close her shop so you can't buy her images any more.   I was lucky to be on her design team and have lots of her images.

I was looking through an old box and I found some old cards I had brayered and not used.   To make this pattern you wrap elastic bands around your brayer and then ink and roll over card.

I cut a circle in the card.   Printed Lacy Sunshine" Freesia Ethereal Enchantress"  onto white card.  Coloured her with purple markers (though her outfit looks blue in the scan).  Coloured her wings with yellow markers, background with purple chalk.  Layered brayered card on top.  Added yellow ribbon and purple bow.  Stamped happy birthday.

Art by Miran February Facebook progressive challenge

Last month I bought the special Art by Miran digi stamps to join the Facebiij progressive challenge which started in January.  Those who bought the image and entered a card into the challenge were able to email for this month's free image.

I have printed this month's free image onto paper from Pininkie diamond set and coloured her with different shades of purple markers (though the shawl looks blue in the scan, don't know why my scanner doesn't show the colours correctly).  Coloured the diamond with clear glitter pen.  The glitter doesn't show up in the scan.  I have then layered this onto purple card which I have embossed with Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder.  Added flower, brad, gems and dots of glitter on the paper and the purple card.  Layered all onto mauve card.

In 2014 there was a special rhino exhibition with different rhinos in every town between Taronga Zoo and Dubbo Zoo.  Emily was doing a course at Taronga Zoo at the time and was able to travel to some of the towns to see the special rhinos.   Emily loves rhinos and has lots of fluffy toy ones
