About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

As you Like it Challenge 2

As you like it challenge number 2 is your favourite 2 colour combo.
http://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/
My favourite 2 colour combos are
1. shades of purple and green
2. shades pink and purple so I have made two cards tonight.
Card One:  Printed Heather Valentin didgi stamp "Violet Flower Pot Pretty" from Lacy Sunshine onto white card and coloured her with milled lavender and dusty concord distress markers and key lime Kaszazz marker and sponged with distress ink.  Layered onto Violet card and then onto lime green card.  Stamped Stampin Up "Thank you".  Added washi tape, flowers and brad.  Then layered all onto green card.

Card Two:  Printed Heather Valentin digi stamp "Scrappin Sue" from Lacy Sunshine onto white card and coloured her with milled lavender, Victorian velvet, dusty concord, spun sugar and worn lipstick distress markers and chalks.  Put her onto light pink card.  Cut oval in purple card and embossed with Couture Creations "tied together" embossing folder and layered over the top of white card.  Added brads and pink ribbon.  (the ribbon is pink but it looks white in the scan because of the shine on the ribbon)

My favourite colours are purples and pinks but I think that the purple looks good with green.  I usually use the purple on the second card with green but today I used violet as the name of the stamp is violet.

Lacey Sunshine is the official and only authorized shop to sell Heather Valentin stamps.
