Mad for Markers Facebook Group Progressive Freebie challenge February

Each month Sammi kindly gives a free stamp on the Mad for Markers Facebook group.  If you make a project with the stamp I send you the next month's free image.

I painted journal pages with blue and green brush markers and sprayed with water.   Stamped grass.  Added flower stencil with glitter pen and distress ink.
Printed sentiment, cut out, pasted onto purple card then pasted onto pages.
Printed the two Mad for Markers digi stamps summer boy and girl with freezie, coloured with Copic markers, cut out and pasted on pages.  Punched butterflies from foil wrap and pasted on top.  Stamped border along the bottom.

Mixed media journal pages

I made these journal pages today at a class at Mad for Markers at Rockdale

Painted pages with pink and purple paint - spread with credit cards.
Added white gesso over purple paint.
Stamped images all over.
Sponged words by Dr Seus with distress ink, cut out, layered onto black card, cut out and pasted onto pages.  Drew around with white pen.
Sponged with distress ink picture drawn by my 2nd grand daughter Emily and photo of Emily, layered onto black card and onto page and drew around with white pen.
Added a few finger prints.
Wrote out the other sentiments and stamped One of a kind.
Added butterfly and white sqiggles.

New digi stamps released today at Cute as a Button

This the card I made with one of the new stamps.

I embossed dark pink card with Cuttlebug Kimmi Luvs embossing folder.
Printed out Cute as a Button new digi stamp I'm Sweet on you, cut out, coloured with markers and glitter pen and layered onto the dark pink card.
Added heart washi tape.
Stamped Stampin Up Sending you my Love, punched out with circle punch and layered on top.  Layered all onto light pink card.

If you go over to the Cute as a Button challenge blog you can see some lovely work by the other design team members with the new stamps.

Inspiration post for Cute as a Button stamps

It is my turn to do an inspiration post for January on the Cute as a Button showcase blog

I have made pages in the journal I am making for one of my grand daughters.

I painted pages with Metallique Light Patina acrylic paint.
Sprayed parts with Dylusions Ink Spray.
Painted star stencil with a mixture of white paint and moulding paste.
Painted dots and border with left over mixture.
Added punched hearts.
Printed Cute as a Button stamps Faith, Hope and Love from the Faith Fairies Bundle
(There are 4 fairies in the bundle the other one is Believe.)
Coloured with markers, cut out and layered on top.
Printed sentiment from the bible, drew around with gel pen,  cut out and layered on top.
Painted over the top with Distress Collage Medium.

Margaret (Duchess) picked the theme for the Christmas Card club this fortnight - anything goes

I have layered two papers from Eskimo Kisses 6x6 paper pad onto red card.

Printed Art by Miran digi stamp digi girl 260 Eirwen onto white card, coloured with markers, cut out and layered on top.  

Added piece of Merry Christmas ribbon, red ribbon, punched holly leaves and rhinestones.
