About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Lollipop Ladies challenge 72 - Pirate Lollipops (with Water) plus design team call

Challenge No 72 at Lollipop Ladies is going for longer this time as there is also a design team call.  You have another 17 days to enter your card at the link on top right hand side of
If you would like to be considered for the design team put DT after your name when entering your card.

This is the challenge - Pirate Lollipops (with Water)
This is the card I made last night
I printed out Make it Crafty digi stamp "Tropical Beach" onto white card and coloured with markers and chalks.  Found pirate ship on google, cut it out and layered on top.  Printed Sassy Studio Design "Pirate Penny" onto white card, coloured with markers and chalks and layered on top.  Added punched sun and shells.  Attached all to blue card.

A really fun card! Love that pirate ship. I almost used a pirate image from Sassy Studio, too. Still might next time, they have some awesome images.
