First I tried painting over a music stencil on the left of the journal page , this didn't work properly so I just painted over it with the pink paint, you can see the music faintly. Then I tried spraying dylusions spray over the music stencil on the right side of the page. This didn't work very well either. So I then sponged over the chevron stencil with purple distress ink across the bottom of the page.
I printed sentiment in pink ink from Mummylade's blog onto white paper and added precoloured dancer and heart girl stamps from Whoopsi Daisy Cute Daisy May CD and Daisy May Friends CD and Singer from Polkadoodles Work and Play No 8 CD. Painted over the sentiment with pink glitter glam and sponged the torn edges with purple distress ink.
Pasted on top of journal page.
Stamped music down left side of page (It doesn't show very well in the scan) .
Added hearts and music notes punched from pink glitter paper, ballerinas punched from pink paper and pearls. Added pink lace across the top.
I hope you will go over to More Mixed Media and see the lovely work by the rest of the design team (who are much better at it than I am) and join in the challenge.
I would like to add this journal page to the following challenges:
