More Mixed Media - black

I made this journal cover in a class at Mad for Markers given by Emma but kept the photo to add to my blog now for the November sample. (The photo is not too clear but it wouldn't fit on the scanner)

Spread black gesso over cover with a credit card.
Spread white gesso over part of the cover with a credit card.
Added finger marks and dots with left over white gesso.
Sammi stamped the stamp for me as my hands were too sore.
I coloured part of the stamp with Prismacolor pencils.
(I forgot to note the name of the stamp, it was one Emma lent us)
Wrote sentiment
Added different washi tapes.
Coloured white lace flowers to match the pink in the flower in her hair and layered on top.

The sentiment says:
Sometimes we just need to feel the wind in our hair and the light on our face.
