About Me

Welcome to my blog

I started this blog in April 2012 so I could join Challenges. I am now on some design teams. I hope you like my cards. I started stamping in 1995 but my cards are still mostly cute.
Thank you to those who have joined as followers and to those who comment.
Unfortunately because of spammers I have had to put moderation on the comments. I will approve them as soon as possible, this also means I don't miss any.
I don't always get a chance to reply to all comments but I read them all when I approve them and I really appreciate you taking the time to give your comment.
The lovely banner was made especially for me by Amanda at Faery Ink Art & Design when I won her first blog challenge. family:";">http://faeryink.com/product/granmargaret-fairy-digital-stamp/

Outlawz Sunday Songs & Rhymes - Over the River and Through the Woods

Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes - November 3 - 16
http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/group/sunday-clean-and-simple/forum/topics/sunday-songs-rhymes-november-3-november-16-2019

Find inspiration in the song or rhyme:
Over the River and Through the Woods

Over the river and through the woods,
To grandmother's house we go;
The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh,
Through (the) white and drifted snow!
Over the river and through the woods,
Oh, how the wind does blow!
It stings the toes and bites the nose,
As over the ground we go.
Over the river and through the woods,
To have a first-rate play;
Oh, hear the bells ring, "Ting-a-ling-ling!"
Hurrah for Thanksgiving Day!
Over the river and through the woods,
Trot fast, my dapple gray!
Spring over the ground,
Like a hunting hound!
For this is Thanksgiving Day.
Over the river and through the woods,
And straight through the barnyard gate.
We seem to go extremely slow
It is so hard to wait!

Over the river and through the woods,
Now Grandmother's cap I spy!

Hurrah for the fun! Is the pudding done?

Hurrah for the pumpkin pie!

I have used precoloured digi stamp and sentiment from Jan's Digi Stamps 3070J Over the River
Paper, trees and animal from Digital Scrapbooking Studio In the Woods by Connie Prince

I hope you will go over and see the lovely work by the design team and join in the challenge.

I would like to add my card to the following:

Margaret,
Love your card! Thank you for showcasing my image design! I love seeing how others perceive and use them in their designs. Sorry, you missed the date for our challenge, but I wish so much luck in the challenges you did enter and hope to see you soon!

Margaret, this is a wonderful card! I love this sweet raccoon watching your travelers as they visit kin. So glad you left a comment on our challenge blog so I could drop by and see it. Because there is a time difference between the US-Oz, let's include your card in the challenge. These new apps are so sensitive that they look at dates and don't realize the possibilities of time zones. I hope you will come back and play some more. I spoke with Jan and she was over the moon about your pretty creation, as I was, too. And now for the professional hat:
So happy I got to see your creation at Jan’s Digi Stamp Challenges . Thanks for the inspiration, and I hope to see more of your designs soon.
Smiles,
Donna
